I’m not speechless very often BUT Kerri and Charles’s wedding has left me that way! You see, Kerri and I met when we were twelve (I won’t tell you how long ago that was!). We grew up together, from awkward pre-teens to even more awkward teenagers, we saw each other through the best and worst years of high school! We went to prom together, roomed together for choral trips and spent countless hours passing notes and notebooks behind teachers backs. We grew apart in college as people tend to do but when we get together, it’s like no time has passed at all.
I was SO honored and excited to be able to capture her and Charles’s wedding last weekend at The Lodge at Brother’s Cove up in Pigeon Forge. Charles is PERFECT for Kerri. He knows when to push her buttons and knows when to just sit back and say “Yes Dear.” The amount of love these two share for each other and for their families and friends was evident all night long. Their wedding was beautiful and charming and full of personal details and fun little inside jokes. There were many moments that were amazing but two moments I absolutely adored. First, Charles is obsessed with Ric Flair – she bought him an authentic, autographed robe for his wedding gift. Watching him open that was like watching a kid open a gift on Christmas! The second moment that was so touching is that Kerri sang to her father before the daugther/daddy dance – she didn’t cry…and I’m not sure how because just about everyone else was!
Enjoy just a small sneak peek from their wedding! It was so wonderful to see all of you and a pleasure to meet Charles’s side of the family!
