I love small, intimate weddings! I love them even more when it’s for a family that I’ve grown up knowing! I’ve known Daniel since he was 7 years old – his sister and I were best friends in high school (and you can see her wedding HERE). When I got the opportunity and honor of being asked to shoot Daniel’s wedding to Catherine – I was thrilled!

What made it even MORE special is that they got married at the family beach house at Holden Beach just two weeks before they sold it to the next lucky family. All of the Alewines grew up here and having Catherine and Daniel’s wedding as their final good-bye seemed perfect.

Thank you Alewines for inviting me (back!) to the beach house to spend one more day making memories. The time I spent here in high school is so dear to me, and I’ll cherish the time I spent with you all there forever!

When I met Stephanie at The Bridal Showcase last January, I immediately fell in love with her enthusiasm!  I was so excited to welcome them to the family and even more excited when they told me they’re expecting a son later this year!!  Congratulations Stephanie and Chris!  Your wedding was PERFECT and I can’t wait to watch your family grow!!

The week leading up to Chris and Albert’s wedding was probably a little stressful (mostly for Albert!  ;)) as it was an outdoor ceremony and there was rain in the forecast.  Chris could control just about everything except the weather but he had nothing to worry about because the day dawned bright and sunny and the weather was perfect for these two to say “I do!” at Colonel Francis Beatty Park.

Congratulations you guys – I’m so honored and thrilled that I got to be the one to capture your crazy love for each other.  Thank you for welcoming me into your family with open arms!  I can’t wait to watch you guys grow as a family.  I hope the honeymoon was AMAZING!

I’ll say it again and again, I love when old friends ask me to shoot their weddings! It’s like a coming home 🙂

Anna and Brian’s wedding was no different. It was the perfect mix of family and friends, and you’ll see by the photographic evidence, that everyone spent the day laughing and sharing in the joy that is these two!

I mean, how can a wedding not be perfect when there are food stations open all night and PW’s shows up to dish out some ice cream!
